 Education is never limited to the classroom. AUI-S seeks to maintain a dynamic campus life that provides students a wide range of activities and organizations that complement their studies, strengthen leadership and cooperation skills, and contribute to the development of well-rounded individuals. This might include debate teams, soccer, volleyball, basketball, drama, film club, or other student organizations as determined by student interest.
AUI-S wants students to feel ownership in the University, that their presence and activities shape its future. The city of Sulaimani furthermore, with its security, tolerance, growing economy and surrounding natural beauty, provides a welcoming environment in which to live and study.
