 At the American University of Iraq - Sulaimani, we strive to develop and maintain a faculty of teacher-scholars who share a common aim: to help our students achieve their highest goals by providing the most effective, stimulating educational experience they can. Our faculty give students personal attention, meet their individual needs and foster a true sense of academic community. This atmosphere provides for a dynamic interaction among everyone on campus, faculty, staff and students alike. Our staff facilitate this community by providing an efficient university administration and offering a wide variety of services to our students.
AUI-S has a faculty and staff that is fully international, with individuals currently from the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and Iraq. Since all instruction at every level is in English, AUI-S does its best to secure the most accomplished native English speaking instructors of any institution in the region.
